USSSA Tournament Information

The tournament will start on either the 26 or 27 of June depending on the number of teams, in the past we have normally started on Friday morning,  in order to play you must register at www.kcsports.com, they will then send me a list of teams and then I can set the brackets- If you are planning on playing please send me an email with team name, contact information and the league you play in to play@westurbanbaseball.com

 

Brackets will be posted the week of the 23rd

Admission -   Gate Cost - Team pass- $225.00 -gets everyone on the team including all relatives and friends-Tell them if they are stopped at the gate to tell them they are here for the Usssa state-use the Ridge Road gate

Coaches will need to check in 1 hr before First game, gates will open 1 hr before the 1st game of the day, individuals caught "jumping" the fence and their team will be removed from the tournament.

Home team                       3rd base dugout.  Coin flip determines Home Team.

 

Home Team                        OFFICIAL scorebook -*Teams are allowed 3 coaches*

 

NO infield practice            Grounders behind 2nd base is acceptable

 

Time limits                          No new innings after 1:50 min.   6 inning games

                                             If we can- games will start early -be ready to play-

Pitching rules                      Official USSSA baseball rules-11 yr olds(4-6-9)

                                             

Run Rules                             20runs after 1st or 2nd inning 15runs after 3 & 8 runs after 4 innings

 

Courtesy Runner                  At any time for current pitcher and catcher

 

Re-Entry Rule                    Starters may re-enter once

 

Slide rule                             Runner must slide whenever a tag play is evident or seek to avoid contact

                                             Runners who " crash " the defensive player will be called out and ejected

                                              and  could be ejected from the next game

EH Rule                              Extra hitter is allowed (NBC Rule bat 10 play 9 and freely sub within the 10)

 

Tie Breaker                                  a.  Win-Loss

                                                            b.    Head to Head

c.     Fewest runs allowed

b.     Highest run differential  (Max difference +8 or –8)

d.    Coin Flip

    Ejections                                     all individuals ejected will be suspended for the following game at a minimum

All Games will be played at Westurban
